About a month ago, I took my first steps as a Project Manager at Softway. In this short period of time, I encountered an unique culture that surprised and inspired me. Not only because of the welcoming work environment, but also because of the concept of leadership that is informally practiced on a daily basis.

In honour of Halloween, we've decided to share some of the nightmares that users can experience when surfing the web.

The concept of "non-place" originated with Marc Augé, a French ethnologist and anthropologist, in his book "Non-Places: Introduction to an Anthropology of Supermodernity". It's a concept that can be adapted to user behaviour on a website.

"When you're working with a client, you're working with people. They have feelings, they have needs, that change from day to day".

We don't create websites. We define a brand's digital positioning strategy…the result can’t be seen merely as “a website”, but rather as the largest gateway for visitors, with the greatest potential for conversion into customers.
