The past year has been made up of work and achievements as a team, but also of good times shared with each other at our team-building events, at lunches and dinners and even at events to increase our knowledge even further.

In January, our development team had the opportunity to attend numerous talks by experienced programmers and developers who shared their knowledge at Laracon EU 2023.

In February we had our retrospective event, where Softway's evolution in numbers was shared, with the right to a high-level immersive theatre: The Death of the Raven.

In May we got together for a team building session, where we worked on effective team communication, with the help of the company 5 P's, through activities and games. It helped us get to know each other better as a team and realise that each person's strengths can contribute to collective success.

We've also had several more relaxed gatherings where we enjoyed each other's company over lunch by the sea, accompanied by laughter, good food and a few drinks. A good example was lunch at Palaphita in Cascais in September, back from the summer holidays, to share stories and enjoy the sunshine that late summer afternoon.

Art, Culture & Drinks was our October event, in which we headed to Lisbon for a morning dedicated to art. Despite the rain and strong winds, we went out together near the river, visited MAAT where we saw the Plug-in exhibition by Joana Vasconcelos and also had the chance to visit the Urban(R)evolution exhibition at the Cordoaria Nacional.

In November, together we supported the 14th edition of Rock 'n' Law at the LAV in Lisbon and were part of the 1,250 people who contributed to the cause: support for education, through the Santa Rafaela Maria Foundation's TASSE Project.

To end the year 2023 on a high note, in December we had our Christmas dinner where we toasted together and distributed gifts to each other. We celebrated the successes that have been achieved together and our strength in the most challenging times.
