Vasco is our Creative Director, who has been part of the Softway team for over 20 years and has accustomed us to his unique humor and his snooker games during work breaks. Vasco is also a huge coffee lover and won't rest until he finishes a whole packet of biscuits in one go. It wasn't easy to convince him to join in on these interviews, but since we managed to persuade him, don't miss reading this interview.
- If you could switch roles with someone at Softway for a day, who would it be and why?
I would switch with Pimenta, Softway's mascot, who lounges around all day (laughs).
- What profession would you like to have if you didn't work at Softway?
I would like to be a fisherman.
- If you could have a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
Superpower? Breathing underwater. So I could fish and surf.
- What is your favorite office snack, and do you have a secret place to keep it?
My favorite snack is "Belgas" (Belgian biscuits), and I hide them in Marta's drawer.
- If you could organize a company event, what theme would you choose, and what activities would you include?
I would arrange a skateboarding class.
- What do you like to do to relax after a day of work?
Relax (laughs). Watch the snooker world championship if there are matches. If not, I watch videos on YouTube.
- What was the last binge-worthy series or movie you watched?
I don't watch series, and nowadays I watch very few movies. But my favorite movie would be "Pulp Fiction" by Tarantino.
- Imagine if you were suddenly given the opportunity to become an expert in any field, what would it be and why?
Shipbuilding, because there aren't many experts in shipbuilding anymore, it suits me, and I like it.
- If you could go back in time, what advice would you give to yourself?
Study more.
- What was the most memorable team-building event you participated in and why?
Perhaps the theater play "The Death of the Crow" because the play was very enjoyable.
We hope this interview has helped you get to know our creative director a little better, who has been part of our team for so long. We are made up of people, and this column serves to show just that. We thank Vasco for sharing these curiosities with us and our readers, allowing us to get to know him a little better.
